100 Friends in 100 Days

We are kicking off our Fall Friend-Raising Campaign with a goal to sign up one hundred new members in one hundred days! By becoming a member of the Friends of Rockland Public Library, community members can take part in keeping the Rockland Public Library thriving and have fun while doing so.

Through Friends' membership fees, The Book Stop, and yearly events such as our popular bi-annual book sales and November Holiday Tree and Wreath Sale, the Friends support important library services such as purchasing all children’s books, adding titles to the adult collection, subsidizing the inter-library loan program, and funding elimination of all late fees.

From September 20 to December 20, we hope to gain 100 new members who want to take part in supporting our fantastic Library.

Friends volunteers run The Book Stop, a wonderful used bookstore located on the lower level of the library building. The Book Stop sells gently used books in all genres, as well as DVDs and CDs, all at bargain prices. It is open year-round, Monday through Saturday, 10am to 1pm.

Donations of nice quality items for re-sale are gratefully accepted. All proceeds benefit the library.
