Annual Meeting & Garden Mingle

Tuesday, August 18th 4-5PM

Join us for the Annual Meeting of the Friends of Rockland Public Library on Tuesday, August 18th from 4-5PM. Following a brief presentation in the Community Room on our past year’s activities and upcoming plans, we will adjourn to the Winter Garden on the side of the library for refreshments, music and mingling.

In keeping with our garden party theme, attendees are welcome to come dressed in their favorite garden party attire. We will have a sharing table, so feel free to bring any garden bounty to share - vegetables, flowers, baked goods! Everyone is welcome.

Friends of Rockland Public Library Katie Syrett Scholarship Fund

Congratulations, Natalie Tolman!

In the spring of 2025, the Friends of Rockland Public Library successfully inaugurated its Friends of Rockland Public Library Katie Syrett Scholarship Fund, created to recognize the role and contribution of the Rockland Library in the lives of local students. The scholarship, set up in recognition of a longstanding member of the Friends, was created to assist students of RSU 13 who plan to continue their education after high school graduation.

Friends of Rockland Public Library is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the mission of providing direct financial support to the library via fundraising while increasing community awareness of library services and programs.
